Miki and Richie Coloured

So after I ditched a SAO "super-fan" Otaku's project on Facebook, cuz of the way they were doing things, like crediting people and refusing to consider copy right policies just cuz "other big time companies create similar animes to Sword Art Online", I decided to colour one of 's (Mauricio Blauz), recent line arts that was on facebook, to try to get over that stupid Otaku and how shitty they made me feel...

This is Miki and Richie. Miki belongs to one of Mauricio's friends (Yuki Ortega on Facebook) while Richie belongs to elquijote (Mauricio)

The challenge was to colour them exactly as the samples that were provided by both of them... I got Miki right, but I think I mis-interpreted Richie's sweater to be an orangey red on Mauricio's Sample, instead of pink o.o

I like my version though, cause I can see both characters clearly, even though I messed up Richie's colour scheme. I think I am getting better with colouring things too, so long as I have a colour scheme and refs set up and opened in Photoshop one time or a colour pallette, so I don't have to spend time opening up work in Photo Viewer and switching back and worth all the time o.o

It took me 1 and a half days...(maybe 2) to colour this in Photoshop CS6. I recorded the colouring process, but you guy's will have to wait... I have 10 other vids to compile of Colourings that I recorded, and at the moment I don't have enough space on my laptop to record and store anything new nor do I want to edit and post vids up before their time. I have to edit all the past ones, post it up and delete the extra vid clips I don't need to save space or get a Teerabyte to save all my stuff o.o ... I'll do that later when I'm on my vacation ^.^
